R-404A

The “quasi-azeotropic” refrigerant, made from an HFC blend, has been widely used in the commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration and refrigerated transport sectors to replace ozone-depleting fluids, like CFCs. However, because of its high global warming potential (GWP), this fluid is now subject to definitive bans scheduled to take effect by 2030.
